Qualifications and skills
- At least Master's Degree level in international relations, political science, social sciences, anthropology, sociology, conflict resolution, human rights, law, or any other relevant related discipline. In the absence of the required education qualification, at least 2 years of equivalent professional experience which must be above the general professional experience duration fixed below);
General professional experience
- At least 6 years' experience in the sector(s) related to the lot;
Specific professional experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the field of international cooperation (governance or civil society development, local development, social inclusion, human rights, rule of law, gender)
- 5 assignments in the field of conflict resolution and/or peace-building of which 3 assignments involving grassroots support programmes or projects in the fields of peace-building, confidence building initiatives, conflict resolution or support for reconciliation in the Middle East region or Arab-speaking countries
- Experience in identification and/or formulation and/or implementation of 3 support programmes or large projects in the fields of peace-building, confidence building initiatives, conflict resolution or support for reconciliation
