Profil demandé :

Education
- Master's Degree in Political/Social Sciences (Sociology, Psychology, Development, International Relations, Economy, Law, or other fields related to this assignment) or, in its absence, equivalent professional experience of minimum 5 years in the area of strategic planning, change management, monitoring and evaluation, organisational development, management of complex programmes. Strong research and analytical skills (PhD preferred).
General professional experience
- 12 years of experience in the areas of organisational development, capacity-building support, change management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL). This should include experience as facilitator and trainer.
Specific professional experience
- At least three years’ experience or a minimum of 5 assignments in developing theories of change in crisis or conflict contexts is a prerequisite;
- At least three years' experience working on projects (management/design) in the area of crisis response, crisis mitigation and peace-building in developing and/or fragile countries is a prerequisite.
- At least three years of experience or a minimum of 5 assignments in conducting assessments/trainings of large-scale organisations, international and local NGOs and civil society organisations, preferably dealing with programmes in crisis contexts; including experience in participatory methodologies in capacity building and training;
- At least three years of experience or a minimum of 5 assignments in developing organisational capacity assessment tools and monitoring work with logframes and indicators;
- Experience in rights-based approaches to development and community development/capacity support is an asset;
- Experience in providing coaching on theories of change is a strong asset;
Soft skills
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in particular, liaising with different stakeholders and audiences, as evidenced by previous assignments;
- Strong capacity to quickly understand complex contexts with changing circumstances, as evidenced by previous assignments.
Language skills
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is essential. At least one of the two experts should have excellent command of French both written and spoken (minimum level C1). Good knowledge of French of both candidates is a strong asset.
